“Everything can be addictive. Do not judge others but look at your own. Choose to change, then make small steps daily.”
Before you are quick to condone others for their addiction, as yourself, “What am I addicted to?”.
This is not an enjoyable activity. We often do not want to see the flaws in ourselves but like to point out the flaws of others, so we feel better about ourselves. It is easy to look at someone and think, “O, they are just an addict. They are messed up. I am so glad that’s not me!”. The question is, is this you? We can be addicted to anything. Sugar is an addictive substance that is killing millions. I am a sugar addict and have to be careful on how much I consume. I love it, but it is one of the reasons I have a weight problem. It is an addiction, just like cocaine or alcohol. The next time you look at someone and judge them for their addiction, look at yourself.
