Therapeutic Word of the Day: Job

“We all have them, however, the most important ones we do not get paid for. Money is not the only benchmark.”

Do you have a job or a career? Many people talk about the job they have, however, is this something you do for money, or is it something you do because you enjoy it?

We all have tasks in life that would be classified as a job. One of our jobs is to be there for our families. Some have to view it as a task to perform to make sure it is done. If you view your family in this way, something is wrong. Your family is a privilege.

Do not let our culture’s obsession with money rule your life. Ask yourself this, do you work to live, or do you live to work?
